The world is a very different place now and understandably, we have adapted our store front operations for everyone’s safety.
Before you visit
We suggest that you check out the galleries of photos here on the website before coming to shop. At your leisure ~ from the comfort and safety of home ~ you can browse hundreds of photos of all that it is in-store. Once you decide to come, we ask that if you are in any way unwell, show signs of fever, cold or flu like symptoms, please, stay home. Come another day once you have fully recovered.
Store Hours
We will be open 10am – 5pm Tuesday to Saturday for the month of May. After these initial few weeks, we will assess the situation and determine next steps.
Number of Customers in store
We will allow a maximum of 4 customers in the store at a time. All customers must maintain distancing protocols of at least 2 meters (6 feet). The seating area in the centre of the store has been removed to facilitate this. Should there be a wait to enter, we ask that all persons line up outside on the sidewalk, wear a face mask and respect distancing protocols of at least 2 meters (6 feet) apart.
Sign In
We ask that all customers provide their name and telephone number upon entry. We are recording time-in for all persons entering the store for tracing purposes only, should it be required by health officials. At the end of each week, all names will be entered for a draw for a $25 Gift Card. Our way of saying “Thanks for coming in!”
Hand santiizing
All customers will be required to use store provided hand sanitizer upon entry to the store and the wearing of gloves will not be permitted.
Face masks
All staff and customers must wear a face mask. If you do not have a face mask, we have medical masks that can be purchased for $5.00 Profits from the sale of these masks will be donated to Port Cares.
Fitting Rooms
We have 2 fitting rooms available, both with doors. Fabric seating benches have been removed and replaced with non- fabric seating. After each use, fitting rooms will be disinfected by store staff.
Clothing
All clothing that has been ‘tried-on’ will be subject to 48 hour quarantine period then steamed prior to being placed back out onto the store floor.
Bra & Mastectomy Fitting
We will not be providing fitting services at this time. If you have purchased intimate apparel from us previously, we can review your file and make recommendations.
Payment
We now have TAP for Visa and Mastercard payments. Debit payments may be made by eTransfer. Cash and cheques will not be accepted. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
After Hours Appointments
We will accept requests for 45 minute appointments at 5:15pm or 6;15pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Appointments are on a first come, first served basis and can be made by email.
General Behaviour
We request that all customers be patient and considerate. A great deal of thought has been given to our decision to reopen. Should customers not respect these protocols, they will be asked to leave the store.
Assumption of Risk
When you enter 270 Degrees West, you acknowledge and accept any potential risks associated with doing so. 270 Degrees West management and staff will not be responsible for any issues that may arise at a later date. Govern yourself acordingly.
